Co-led by Melissa Goodwin, head guide and owner of Girl Gotta Hike, and Catskills Visitor Center staff, this 6-mile out and back hike will take us to the top of Balsam Lake Mountain to climb the fire tower and enjoy the views.

A great way to work on completing the 2022 Catskill Fire Tower Challenge, which is organized by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.

We’ll meet at 8:45am on Sunday, August 7th at the Dry Brook Ridge trailhead located on Mill Brook Road in Arkville, NY. Registration is required and spots are limited!
