We hope you’re hungry…
The Catskills have long been farm country and that legacy shows in today’s local food scene.
Today’s Catskill farms are a mix of long-standing, multi-generation family farms and businesses newly started by agricultural entrepreneurs. These farms produce vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy, honey, maple syrup, and more. While you visit, please support our local farms by buying local products, eating at farm- to-table restaurants, shopping at a farmer’s market, or taking a farm tour.
Pure Catskills is an initiative by the Watershed Agricultural Council to promote local farms and businesses in Delaware, Greene, Otsego, Schoharie, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties. Pick up one of their guides or visit www.PureCatskills.com to find where to buy local products and to learn more about how you can support local producers.
