Kick off the New Year on Saturday, January 1st 2022 by visiting the Upper Esopus Fire Tower at the Catskills Visitor Center! An 80-foot fire tower that looks out on the Esopus Valley with views of Mt. Tremper, Ashokan High Point, and several other surrounding mountains, the tower is worth a visit!

The top cab will be open during the Visitor Center’s regular business hours: 9:30 to 4pm on Saturday, January 1st 2022. Pre-register for the First Day Hike by calling the Visitor Center at 845-688-3369 or by emailing obernard@catskillcenter.org. All registrants for the First Day Hike can stop by the Visitor Center during business hours to pick up a free gift!
