POSTPONED: Leap Day Stargazing at the Catskills Visitor Center

*POSTPONED: Unfortunately due to cloudy skies and snow showers expected this Saturday evening, we’re postponing stargazing at the Visitor Center, and will be hoping for clear skies for our next event. We apologize for any inconvenience.*

If you want to learn more about our night sky, the Catskills Visitor Center will be hosting a Star Party on Leap Day, the evening of Saturday, February 29th from 7-9 p.m. Steve “The Dirtmeister” Tomecek, writer for National Geographic, will be our guide for the event and participants will be given a Star Map and shown how to use it. There will also be telescopes set-up for viewing the moon, Venus, and other celestial objects.
