The Congressman Maurice D. Hinchey Catskills Visitor Center (CVC) is a partnership between the Catskill Center and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Opened in 2015, the CVC connects residents and visitors with the ecology, history, and culture that make the Catskills unique

Interpretive Loop Trail (red trail markers, easy): approximately ½ mile, a loop trail that circles the Visitor Center. The trail is ADA accessible. Along the trail, there are multiple interpretive panels, telling the story of the Catskills Visitor Center site and the ecology and history of the Catskills

Carry In, Carry Out: All of our trails follow Carry In, Carry Out rules. We ask that you please pack out anything you bring with you! Please pack out all biodegradables and dog waste.

Dogs are permitted on all three trails at the CVC. Please keep all dogs on leash out of respect for other visitors and wildlife. Please clean up after your dog.
