Volunteer Orientation: Catskills Visitor Center Volunteers
Do you have a vast knowledge of the Catskills? Do you like helping people? If so, the Catskills Visitor Center is looking for you!
With the increasing growth of visitation to the Catskills, the Catskills Visitor Center is looking for motivated, friendly volunteers to help make visitors’ first stop in the Catskills memorable. Volunteers will help answer visitor questions, share history, and teach Leave No Trace ethics.
An in-person training will happen after an orientation call, which will go more in-depth about what’s expected. During the call, volunteers will choose the times and dates they would like to volunteer. The in-person training for the event will be on April 16th at The Catskills Visitor Center from 10 am till 12 pm. These hours will count towards volunteering.
This is a great opportunity to engage with the community, help protect the Catskills, and make a positive impact on visitors’ experiences! Sign up today and become a part of the team!
