Reading the Trails: Winter Wildlife Tracking
Ever wondered whether that track in the snow belongs to a dog or a coyote?
Join naturalist and licensed guide Dave Holden for a guided walk along the Interpretive Loop Trail at the Catskills Visitor Center, where you’ll learn how to identify common animal tracks and signs.
If there’s snow, we’ll focus on tracking, uncovering the stories left behind by wildlife. If not, the walk will shift into a broader exploration of the natural landscape.
Advance registration is required, with a $10 suggested donation.
Please wear warm clothes, appropriate footwear, and meet Dave in the Catskills Visitor Center to start the program.
