Join us for a virtual Catskills adventure from the comfort of your couch, blanket fort, or backyard tent. (Haven’t you been looking for an excuse to set it up?!) Nature-themed fun for all ages will be posted on the Catskills Visitor Center Facebook page throughout the weekend – pop in for a few minutes when you can, or follow along with our whole schedule as it happens. We’ll explore birdwatching, fossil hunting, animal tracking, hiking and many other topics through videos, interactive games, printable activities, and more. Programs are geared for beginners and families, and meant to inspire simple, accessible adventures in your own home or neighborhood, wherever you live. Join us each evening for live featured events – on Friday at 7pm Steve “The Dirtmeister” Tomecek will present Stars: An Interactive Reading and Program, and on Saturday enjoy Mountain Tales & Sing-a-long with Story Laurie, followed by a spectacular showing of Catskills-inspired “fireworks” across social media.
