Are you ready to tackle the Fire Tower challenge? Join one of our Catskill Stewards on a steward-led hike to the Mount Tremper Fire Tower on Thursday, June 13, 2024. The Mount Tremper Fire Tower hike is a challenging hike of about 6 miles round trip. Enjoy some great views while completing one of the 6 fire towers in the 2024 Catskill Fire Tower Challenge!

The hike will be steep and rocky at times, with an ascent of close to 2000 feet from the trailhead parking area. Beautiful 360 views of the Catskills will greet you from the top cab of the fire tower. Hike in with our Steward, and hike back at your convenience. 

Meet at the Jessop Road trailhead parking at 10:00 am.
