Lark in the Park: Platte Clove History Hike

A hike along the Nature Trail (1/2 mile loop) and the Waterfall trail (1/3 Mile one way) while discussing the history of Platte Clove, the artists cabin, and some general Catskills history. Topics talked about include how the clove formed from glaciers, the Hudson River School, the Bicycle Tours that it hosts and has hosted, the History of the Ruins that are there and a bit more !

Event Duration: 1.5 miles, 1.5 – 2 hours

Level of Difficulty:  Easy-Moderate

Bring: snacks, water/ drink, proper clothing, sturdy boots
