I Love My Park Day is the largest single-day volunteer event in New York State! It will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2021 and whether this is your first or your tenth I Love My Park Day — welcome. With the ongoing pandemic, spring is going to look a little different, but we are excited to be hosting a safe, in-person I Love My Park Day event. This year, in partnership with NY State Parks and DEC, Parks & Trails New York will be hosting a more contained event.

Volunteers can help with the removal of invasive species, install riparian vegetation, help maintain the pollinator garden, or partake in some light trail maintenance. Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing and footwear for planting activities and bring lunch, water and snacks.

Please bring: Gardening gloves, light colored clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, lunch, water, and if you have a favorite pair of loppers or clippers please do bring them.
