Join Catskill Center guest educator, Diana Richards, for an introduction to responsible recreation with your dog in the great outdoors.

Happy Tails on Happy Trails will cover hiking preparedness for you and your dog, tips for keeping your canine companion safe on the trail, leash laws, trail etiquette, strategies to minimize ecological impact, and the importance of leaving no trace to preserve the beauty and integrity of our natural landscapes.

This program will include both stationary and active elements (a short hike), so this will be a human-only event. Dogs will be welcome at our upcoming Paws & Paths: Pack Walk at Thorn Preserve (to which priority registration will go to Happy Tails on Happy Trails participants).
