Hike to Red Hill Fire Tower on Saturday, March 5th and get one step closer to completing the 2022 Catskill Fire Tower Challenge!

A guided hike that will leave from the Denning Road Trailhead at 9am, this is a brand new moderate trail that is 4 miles roundtrip (out and back) to the fire tower.

Learn more about trail stewardship with our Steward Coordinator and get a unique insight into fire tower history with our Red Hill Fire Tower volunteer. The top cab of the tower will be open for the hike.

Gear to bring: warm non-cotton layers, hat, gloves, waterproof hiking shoes, and microspikes are highly recommended! More information about gear will be sent out closer to the hike. In case of heavy rain or snow, the hike will be postponed for the following Saturday.
