The Catskills Great Outdoor Expo is returning in 2023!

We are pleased to announce that the Catskills Great Outdoor Expo will take place on June 10, 2023 from 10am – 3pm. We will be hosting the Expo at the Congressman Maurice D. Hinchey Catskills Visitor Center in Mount Tremper, NY.

The Catskills Great Outdoor Expo features the best the Catskills have to offer in hiking, paddling, bicycling, and other outdoor recreation activities. This one-day Expo will be filled with dozens of exhibitors from the outdoor tourism industry and nonprofits in the Catskills. There will be activities for all ages, food, presentations, raffle prizes, and the Catskills Great Outdoor Gear Sale. Download the full schedule here.

This year Catskill Center is combining the Catskills Great Outdoor Expo with the DEC’s Get Outdoors & Get Together Day. Join us this Saturday, June 10th for a full line-up of great events, outdoor organizations, and activities for all ages:

Archery with DEC Instructors from 10am to 2pm – POSTPONED

Bird Walk with John Burroughs Natural History Society 10:30am– advance registration not required, binoculars available to borrow, meet in front of the Visitor Center

Essential Oil Distillation with Phoenicia Soap- 10:30am– Held in Program tent.

Birds of Prey with Ravensbeard Wildlife Center- 10:30am in Pavilion

Riparian Buffer Walk with Catskill Center Staff- 11am in Program tent

Mount Tremper Has a Temper Book Reading and Signing- 11:30am in Program tent

Water Table Demonstration with Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Program- 11:30am in Pavilion

Music with Story Laurie- 12pm in Pavilion
