An annual celebration of state parks and public land, Catskill Center is proud to host I Love My Park Day with Parks & Trails NY and the NYS Department of C annual celebration of state parks and public land, Catskill Center is proud to host I Love My Park Day with Parks & Trails NY and the NYS Department of Conservation on Saturday, May 2nd from 9 am until 3 pm. There will be several trail projects for people to choose from; tree planting, invasive plant removal, and light trail maintenance.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, light-colored long sleeve shirts and long pants suggested. Lunch will be provided, both meat and vegetarian options, and each volunteer will receive an I Love My Park t-shirt.

I Love My Park Day brings together thousands of volunteers to celebrate and enhance New York’s parks, historic sites, and public lands. Events at a variety of locations – from trails in the Forest Preserve to popular campgrounds to urban escapes – providing many opportunities for New Yorkers to help clean up, restore, and enhance these special places.
