Lark in the Park: Birding Walk at the Catskills Visitor Center
Join bird enthusiast Finn Parnell on October 4, 2023 for a birding walk around the Catskills Visitor Center. We’ll listen for and identify birds along the 0.5 mile, accessible loop trail using the Merlin App. Feel free to download the Merlin App prior to our walk. For those interested, the Upper Esopus Fire Tower will be open and available to climb. Please wear comfortable footwear. Binoculars are available to borrow, at a first come first serve basis. Meet the hike leader at the entrance to the Catskills Visitor Center at 10am at 5096 New York 28, Mt Tremper NY 12457.
Finn Parnell is the Community Relations Specialist and leads the Catskill steward program for the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development.
